In October of
2007, Kevin Michael Ryan, then a freshman at Towson University,
was lost to us when he was struck and killed by a drunk driver.
This bright and humorous young man is missed every day. His
energetic and fun-loving spirit stays with us as we cherish and
honor him. To share his enthusiastic, caring nature and assist
students with financial need, a scholarship, Kevin Ryan’s Gift,
is now in place.
Students qualify for the scholarship if, like Kevin, they
demonstrate academic excellence, have participated in Scouting
and show a strong desire to achieve in their college career. It
is our hope that we will assist many young people in the future
with this tribute. Proceeds from our golf event and all
donations go to his scholarship fund.
Your tax-deductible donation will make the dream of an
affordable college education a reality for other deserving
students at Towson University in the future.
